Les scrutins proportionnels

Welcome to Jurismana! We're continuing our discussion of voting methods with a hot topic: proportional representation. A big mistake regarding the distribution based on the highest average (my mathematical skills are decidedly very poor!) because it's obviously the blue list that wins the remaining seat in the highest remainder method! (Thanks to Mr. M). Indeed: Blue list remaining: 70 Green list remaining: 0 Red list remaining: 0 Purple list remaining: 10 If the blue list had 250 votes and the purple list 70, the purple list would have received 1 additional vote: Blue list remaining: 10 Green list remaining: 0 Red list remaining: 0 Purple list remaining: 70 Find us on: Facebook:   / jurismana   Twitter:   / tanehrlm   Instagram:   / hr_lm   Clothes: N/A My books: General Introduction to Environmental Law in French Polynesia (free download): http://www.victoria.ac.nz/law/researc...
