The incident occurred on July 12, 2026, at approximately 7:00 AM. They appealed to relevant agencies to investigate the unknown individuals who were entrusted with carrying these items across the border, believing it to be part of an organized crime ring. Mr. Sarawut, Ms. Jutathip's boyfriend, stated that last year, his girlfriend created a Line group called THIENTHIEN SHOP to offer a service of carrying items for Thais living in Japan and those wishing to send items to Japan. On July 10th, a LINE user named "ing ing" messaged the group, offering to transport goods to Japan. The items weighed a total of 12 kg and were packed in a tightly sealed brown box. I'm not sure if my girlfriend opened the box to check its contents. This customer had hired me to do this once before in May, so I didn't suspect anything. Then, on July 12th, around 7:00 AM, after the plane landed at the Japanese airport, airport security inspected everyone's luggage. My girlfriend was detained, and I and my friend were interrogated from approximately 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. After the interrogation, my friend and I were released, leaving only Ms. Jutathip. We haven't been informed of any charges yet. The next day, I went to the Consulate General in Fukuoka to inquire about my girlfriend's case. Later, the Consulate General informed me that a stimulant substance was detected, but they didn't know which item it came from. On July 22nd, the girlfriend's family received a letter from the consulate informing them that methamphetamine was found in a coffee sachet. On that day, they were carrying a total of nine boxes of goods. All customers picked up their orders except for one customer named "ing ing," who did not contact them and has since blocked them. This customer had transferred 3,600 baht as payment to an account under the name HO THI MAI. Ms. Kanyavee, the mother of Ms. Jutathip, stated that on July 22nd, the family was informed by the Thai consulate that her daughter had been arrested at Fukuoka Airport in Japan for importing narcotics (methamphetamine). She was shocked and immediately filed a police report at Bang Bua Thong Police Station to request access to CCTV footage from her daughter's village to determine who delivered the package. She has now obtained the information and provided all evidence to the Bang Bua Thong investigative team. She is very worried about her daughter and cannot contact her. She wants the relevant agencies to help follow up on this case and investigate whether the person who delivered the package containing the drugs to her daughter for shipment to Japan is connected to previous news reports. Ms. Kanyavee further stated that her family is now accepting the situation of her daughter's arrest due to her carelessness in not checking the contents of the box properly.
