Step six in creating your future self: Classify your feelings. Emotions aren’t something to suppress or run from—they’re signals guiding you toward deeper self-understanding. By naming and acknowledging your feelings, you increase emotional intelligence, make more conscious decisions, and build stronger relationships. When you learn to say, “I see you, anger,” or “This is sadness,” you take the fear out of emotions and turn them into allies on your journey. Feel them, name them, and let them guide you toward a future self who is grounded, resilient, and emotionally free.
