Furor to go & #MeinSenf (Nemitz und Hübner in 10 Min.)

"For the last time, I advise you to listen. When I look at this country, everything is going wrong." That's what 29-year-old Jerome thinks, and at least this once, a politician named Braubach is forced to listen to him. SOMMERS WELTLITERATUR summarizes the play FUROR by Sarah Nemitz and Lutz Hübner in 10 minutes, followed by commentary and context in the form of #MeinSenf. The politician Braubach, a candidate for mayor in the next election, has hit a young man. Now he comes to his mother, Nele Siebold, to express his sympathy and offer help. The conversation isn't easy, but a connection develops. Then Nele's nephew Jerome joins in and takes a completely different tone toward Braubach. First, he demands compensation and a pension, then the conversation suddenly turns to much more fundamental issues, namely politics and what's "going wrong" in the country. Jerome openly threatens Braubach with killing him to make a statement, to offer "resistance." However, the opportunity to commit the murder is lost when Nele returns.
