EP 11: Rig-rite Monday - Goodbye Rusty Wire, Hello Amsteel! | Two the Horizon Sailing

HAPPY RIG-RITE MONDAY! Howdy Crew! In this episode, Sonya gets her workout by cranking Jack up the mast to replace our old, rusty wire Topping Lift onboard Gemini. We splice our own Amsteel Blue super strong line from Samson Ropes and manage to take over 4.7lbs of weight off our rig! Slowly but surely, the Two the Horizon crew is bringing our 1986 Passport 42 sailboat into the era of high tech, super light synthetic rigging. So I know we left a teaser in our last episode about our big engine project, but we couldn't help but sneak a little rigging in!
