"Lead Kindly Light" - 300 Voice Mass Choir- Classic Hymns Album

A popular hymn " Lead Kindly Light" which was also a favourite of Mahatma Gandhi. It is told that when he met with his friends (C.F. Andrew was among them and was also the Mahatma's nurse) he used to request them to sing hymns like " Abide with me" " Lead Kindly Lights" " The Old Rugged Cross" " Rock of Ages" . In each of Classic Hymns albums we have placed a favourite hymn with a note on the cover " featuring one of Mahatma Gandhi's favoutite hymn .The words of the song is talking of leading ones life from darkness to light by being the light of in the earth. With aim to revive hymns Classic Hymns has so far done over 100 hymns of which 6 albums are in English, 2 in Tamil and1 each in Malayalam and Kannada.
