One early morning, I decided to walk around Al Jaddaf Walk before the Dubai heat fully kicked in… and I spotted these bright red-orange trees blooming all over the area. It didn’t even feel like the usual Dubai scenery we’re used to seeing every day. These are Flame Trees, known for their fiery flowers that bloom during the hotter months. Around this time of the year, you’ll start noticing them in different parts of Dubai, adding color to the city during summer. What’s nice is how Dubai continues planting more trees and green spaces around the city. Little by little, these flame trees are becoming part of Dubai’s summer identity — almost like how cherry blossoms are associated with Japan. It’s completely free to enjoy. Just look everywhere, or take a slow walk at popular parks while the temperature and humidity are still manageable. If you want to see them, Al Jaddaf Walk is one of the nicest spots right now to catch these trees in bloom.
