Volkswagen, the driving force behind the recent electrification of automobiles around the world, has finally landed its first dedicated electric vehicle (BEV)! We tried out the Volkswagen ID.4 Pro Launch Edition. It uses the MEB platform for BEVs and has one electric motor mounted at the rear. In other words, the ID.4 has a rear-engine, rear-wheel drive layout reminiscent of the Beetle. Will it become a car that is loved like the Beetle and Golf?
