Stephanie The Spy (How a Kid's Movie Helped Me Understand My Adult Mistakes - Storytime)
I heard someone say... more long form content?? Welp, here is the LONGEST video I've ever posted on youtube, so in advance, thank you for watching :) After the recent passing of millennial actress and childhood icon Michelle Trachtenberg, I felt compelled to rewatch one of the most important films in her collection, "Harriet The Spy". And what it helped me understand about myself, my (possibly toxic) coping mechanisms, and a recent event in my life was extremely enlightening. The moral of this story is, there are lessons learned in childhood that follow us, no matter how old we get or long it takes us to learn them.
