3 Forgotten Jewish Languages

Today we return to a topic we've discussed before: lesser-known languages of Jewish communities across the world. However, unlike a Judeo-language which is completely separate, a Jewish-language functions more like a dialect of a greater language and all the languages in this video are intelligible with their non-Jewish counterparts. It is the difference between Judeo-German (commonly known as Yiddish) and Jewish-English (a mere dialect) for example. In this video, I am joined by my friend Benny who heads the Mersi Muncho channel. Be sure to check out his videos for authentic Sefardi cuisine entirely in Ladino!
