Documentary: Largest Bleu (Iolana [= Glaucopsyche] iolas) and the Bladder senna

A documentary of the Largest Bleu (Iolana [= Glaucopsyche] iolas (Ochsenheimer, 1816)), belonging to the Lycaenidae: Polyommatinae. The life-cycle of this beautiful butterfly has been filmed. The Bladder senna is its only food-source; its nectar for the butterflies, its calex of the flowers for egg laying and its pods for the caterpillars. Their behavior and courtship have been filmed as well as the concurrence between caterpillars of different species inside the bladders, predation and parasitism.
