30 Kinetic Energy & Work Energy Theorem
In this video, we introduce kinetic energy and the work-energy theorem. We explain how net work changes the kinetic energy of an object and how this relationship can be used to solve motion problems. Several example problems are worked out step by step, including calculations involving kinetic energy, net work, work done by individual forces, and final speed. We also compare solving problems using the work-energy theorem with solving them using Newton’s second law and kinematic equations.
