When J.R. asks her out for lunch after they go visit the baby, Sue Ellen tells him that she’d rather rest than go to the hospital. J.R. decides not to pressure her. Miss Ellie assures Pam that Bobby will control the screwworm before more cattle gets infected. J.R. tells Miss Ellie that Sue Ellen still needs her rest. Although Cliff is doing a great job at the OLM, the Ewings still have drill sites and leases. Cliff’s associate warns him that Ewing-Oil shouldn’t be their only priority and his vendetta against the Ewings could cost him his job as the head of OLM.
