Great Crush Collision March 8-bit
This march was dedicated to the staged train crash organized by William George Crush. The event did not go as planned and the collision of the two trains injured many bystanders. But it was massively successful in terms of popularity, I guess this is what people in the 1890's did for entertainment? Anyway, this is one of Joplin's earlier works. It is one of his rare marches, and the whole piece tells the story of the collision, with Joplin even adding some train sounds that are pretty accurate haha. The piece starts with a minor tone but ends with a happy theme and I think it is really underrated and beautiful. I had some trouble with my editing software so this one took a while lol.
