We're heading into the second weekend of June, and it appears the summer heat is on here at the Jersey Shore. It's been a tough fluke bite out back in many areas, but hopefully the uptick in water temps and good-looking weather forecast for this Saturday the 13th proves to be the turn-around needed for beach, bay and inlet fluking. But reports have an ocean bite underway (9:00), and nearshore squid action has been surprisingly good (5:30).
