The Konosu Summer Festival was held on Sunday, July 13, 2025. It began as a prayer for the development of Konosu-juku, which has a history dating back to the Edo period and once flourished as a post town. This year, the weather was good, and many people visited, making it a very lively event. The highlight of the festival is the "Mikoshi Togyo", where 12 portable shrines are paraded along the Nakasendo road, which becomes a pedestrian paradise for about 3 km.
