Survivors recount how they lived through the darkest hours of their lives, when the avalanche destroyed their homes and buried their loved ones. Renowned Colombian actor Álvaro Rodríguez, who was filming a short film in one of the affected neighborhoods, narrates the harrowing moments he and his crew experienced as they struggled to survive. Journalist Laura Montoya also recounts how she was rescued from the mud and rocks where the remains of her house and those of her neighbors now lie.
