Near their end... Class 455's STILL in service with South Western Railway in 2026 | 17/01/26

I made another trip down to London and I ended up once again on a class 455. This was unexpected as the class 455s were meant to go out of service on the 23rd December 2025. These class 455s are getting ever closer to their retirement and now they are only in service to be a stock gap until South Western Railway can get enough class 701s to replace them. No one knows how much longer is left but hopefully they will be running on my next trip to London.
