Speaking at the launch of the National Research Fund in Accra, the Minister indicated that a resolution is already underway, adding that the Ministry of Finance has approved documentation necessary for the payment process. He also made a light-hearted comment about the exchange rate to be used in calculating the allowances, suggesting that it could generate public discussion. The development comes amid ongoing concerns from university lecturers over delayed payments and funding challenges in the tertiary education sector.
