Critics on government's use of data

Pan African Institute for Evidence director Dr Pali Lehohla says South Africa’s constitutional promise has been betrayed over the past 30 years, arguing that poor use of data and evidence has undermined the country’s development. Speaking at the Electoral Commission's Thought Leadership Seminar, Lehohla called for greater accountability and evidence-based governance, warning that the country’s youth continue to bear the brunt of policy failures.
