Where exactly should we locate jouissance in perversion? We discuss the logic of fantasy and consider the role of disavowal in relation to the scopic drive. Meera offers her thoughts on Lacan’s idea of ‘père-version’ and the notion of a type of everyday perversion. We foreground what perversion is not for Lacan, concluding with the idea of perversion as possessed of linguistic structure.
