A prodigious talent from a young age, she found herself fighting for the Overall World Cup in her early twenties, before facing years marked by injuries, mental struggles, anxiety and the disruption of Covid. The low point came at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, a moment that seemed to question her future in the sport. But giving up was never an option. Starting again from scratch, Lisa rebuilt herself step by step. In 2023, she led Italy to a historic first World Championship gold in the women’s relay. One year later, she finally claimed the Overall World Cup title that had slipped through her fingers in 2019. Just as everything seemed set, another setback arrived — a fall in training that forced her to stop and once again face uncertainty. This time, however, Lisa approached it differently. Listening to her body, trusting the process and drawing strength from experience, she found her way back.
