"SOULS on the JOURNEY to HEAVEN" is an initiative to pray together online, taking as our daily guide the Messages of the Mother of Jesus, released by the parish of Medjugorje. It's well known: when praying, it's always best to go to church for community prayer, participate in weekly prayer groups, and find time to spend time in church in the presence of Jesus, "Light of the World," using the forms of liturgical prayer recommended by the Church, both for community prayer and personal prayer. Our initiative to periodically broadcast live moments of listening to the Messages of the Mother of Jesus, broadcast by the parish of Medjugorje, does not replace the liturgical prayer recommended by the Church (which we also practice daily). It is intended for those who, like us, feel they are "SOULS on a JOURNEY toward HEAVEN" and are looking for someone to share their journey by listening to the Messages of the Mother of Jesus, broadcast by the parish of Medjugorje, even if only online with their smartphone. The Messages that the Mother of Jesus gives to the parish of Medjugorje and to the entire world are published on the official website of the parish of Medjugorje, http://www.medjugorje.hr/it/, as well as on many other Catholic Church websites (e.g., http://www.radiomaria.it/). In listening to the words of the Mother of Jesus, we have found a sure guide for our daily journey. We believe that the Messages of the Mother of Jesus are precious teachings, a school of prayer and life to learn how to live our earthly pilgrimage well. We feel greatly helped by rereading the Messages of the Mother of Jesus, because we are convinced that—as when we study—what we assimilate through learning transforms us. Thus, we believe that listening repeatedly to the teachings of the Mother of Jesus can transform us—one step at a time—into her apostles, and that thus she herself will welcome us as her children and accompany us in welcoming Jesus, the Light of the world.
