Kitana is an interesting character in MK1 because she has been changed significantly compared to her previous iterations. She has almost become the set, trap character that can also zone decently and some ok pressure when paired up with kameos. This video will look at everything you should know as a Kitana main from basekit setups, strategies and combos. Terminology K = Kameo UK = Up Kameo DK = Down Kameo FK = Forward Kameo BK = Back Kameo OKI = Okizemi - When a player is attacking an opponent as they are waking up of the ground. DOT = Damage Overtime - Unblockable damage from a move that is executed and persists for a varying amount of time. Meaty - Attacking the opponent during their wake up frames after being invulnerable, always performed after a close knockdown.
