I finally have clarity about the whole situation surrounding Valko’s cancellation

#bringValkoback I don’t need to say much more. InFold Games, the developers of Love and Deepspace just straight up cancelled the release of their new 6th love interest, Valko. Around three weeks ago, they posted a teaser, an announcement PV, and a character trailer. Valko is a fun, charming, adorable werewolf character who ended up dividing the fanbase to such an extent that the game devs had no choice but to listen to the part of the fanbase who didn’t like Valko and cancel his release entirely. While a lot of us fell in love with this playful, intriguing character, a lot of players didn’t appreciate the character (mainly from the game’s national playerbase). This apparently led to a lot of internal conflict, discussions with the company, pressure from a small toxic group within their national player base who reached out to national media outlets and local authorities to create pressure. Attention from the press and the government led InFold to take this drastic decision. The global playerbase is not happy about it at all - quite disappointed and frustrated, in fact. And that includes myself. The power of fandom has brought the global and parts of the national player base together in an online movement to #freevalko , bring #justiceforvalko and him back to the game. But on July 9, the brand new version 6.0 update was dropped but with many unannounced changes - and most importantly, no Valko. It’s just chaos in the Love and Deepspace fandom at the moment and I am honestly just exhausted. In this video I just want to do a recap and go through everything that has happened so far, touch on the new developments and finally talk about how we need to reframe and change our approach a bit with regards to the current situation and finally I would like to make some updates about my personal decisions with regards to the situation. So, please stay and watch until the end. My appeal in this video is to maintain peace within the fandom, not to panic and rely on false information and rumors, and make your own independent choice and whether or not to support the game, whether or not to play the game, and whether or not to quit the game.
