Better late than never! 🦾💥 I know I’m a bit behind on this one—assignments have been absolutely crushing me lately and leaving me with zero free time. Thankfully, my schedule is finally opening up, and I’ve got a massive roster of figure reviews lined up for you guys. To kick things off, we are diving into the heavy hitter everyone has been waiting for: the S.H. Figuarts Armored All Might! Let’s just get straight to it: this figure is incredible. Right out of the box, it feels incredibly premium. The standout feature has to be the metallic paint finish—it looks absolutely superb and catches the light perfectly on the shelf. The likeness is completely spot-on to the anime, and the engineering is top-tier. The ab crunch range on this guy is crazy good, allowing for some seriously intense combat stances. The only minor limitation in the movement is the head range, which feels a bit restricted, but it’s a small price to pay for a sculpt this clean. Speaking of the sculpt, the damaged mask head part is phenomenal. It adds so much raw emotion and battle-worn grit to the display. He also comes with his own robotic version of Blackwhip, which looks awesome wrapped around his arms. That being said, considering the hefty price tag on this guy, I really do wish Tamashii had packed in a few more accessories or flashier effect pieces. Another slight annoyance is the cape—while it looks great, it has a habit of popping off while you're trying to pose him, which can get pretty frustrating. Despite the cape quirks and the light accessory count, you can't deny the presence this guy has. He absolutely towers over the other MHA figures just like he should, looking like the ultimate final line of defense on the shelf.
