DIESEL SWAP Jeep Comanche: Mercedes OM617 TURBO POWER

Our friend built a sweet Jeep Comanche with a superturbo diesel. His Jeep Comanche is a long beg 4x4 with a newer Cherokee front end conversion. Also the interior was redone to fit the newer design. Our friend rebuilt the whole Jeep over the course of a few years, now it looks brand new! The Jeep has 38in tires with stunning KMC beadlock wheels, Jeep JK Rubicon axles and transfercase. Its a go anywhere jeep with great power and fuel economy. Our favorite part about his build is the engine, he used a Mercedes Om617 5 cylinder turbodiesel with a 7.5mm injection pump from BenzForce.com and a Holset HE221 with the 7mm housing. After these mods he says the old slow diesel Mercedes engine came to life with great power and very responsive with the 5 speed AX-15. The Holset HE221 spools very fast and gives the OM617 good power and runs very clean with a 7.5mm injection pump from Benzforce. Our friend has been driving and offroading this Jeep for a few years now and he loves it!
