Brian Boru, Celtaria
When reading the novel "Lion of Ireland" by Morgan Llywelyn we were immediately captivated by the persona and the exploits of this mythical king. From thence came the inspiration to compose this track in his honour. We have used the traditional "Brian Boru's March" as the introduction, bridge and coda. For the lyrics we have adapted an English translation of the Irish poem "Kincora", attributed to MacLiag (c. 1015) We have also used some images from the documentary "The life of Brian Boru, high king of Ireland" for the video.
