[4K] 🇦🇹 Vienna Trams | Wiener Linien & Badner Bahn

The Vienna Tram system is one of the most extensive of its kind in Europe. With 30 lines over 177 km of track and being in service since the 1890s it is one of the most famous tram systems in the world. Its length makes it one of the most important modes of transport in the city and its integration with the rest of the city’s transit makes it really easy to use. Most of the system is run by Wiener Linien which is the same company that operates the metro but there is one line thats more of a suburban tram running all the way to Baden, a city around 30 km south of Vienna. Rolling stock on the system is very modern with almost 100% of the fleet being low floor and a good chunk of those trams having been delivered in the the past couple of years. Like many European tram systems it is fast, frequent, and very efficient.
