Actor Takeru Sato appeared at the world premiere screening event for his starring film "Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends," held in Tokyo on September 3rd. Also in attendance at the event were heroine actresses Emi Takei, Munetaka Aoki, and director Keishi Otomo. There was also a surprise event where Takei, Sato, and other cast members, who had not seen "The Legend Ends," watched the film with the audience. "Rurouni Kenshin" is based on the manga by Kazuyuki Watsuki. Kenshin (played by Sato), feared as the "Battousai the Assassin" during the late Edo period, becomes a wandering samurai ("Rurouni") after the Meiji Restoration, swearing not to kill, and battling various enemies as he searches for a new way of life in this new era. "The Legend Ends" is the sequel to "Kyoto Fire" and is set in Kyoto, where a new enemy awaits, aiming to take control of Japan. The film will be released on September 13th.
