Would You Install a Tailgate Seal? I Try One on My 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD with MultiPro Tailgate

I did not expect to install one of these in my new truck, but after a few outings in the rain while hauling goods that need to stay dry, I gave it a more detailed consideration. The rain getting in may be to blame a combination of the MultiPro tailgate itself (more seams) combined with my tonneau cover (way it overlaps on top). I realize it's a truck tailgate and not intended to be watertright, but I figure might as well try a tailgate seal. So I found one from ESI that is exclusively designed for GM trucks, both the GMC with MultiPro tailgate, and the Chevy with Multi-Flex tailgate. So what are my thoughts after installing it?
