Springsteen's Darkest Masterpiece | The Real Story of Nebraska
Bruce Springsteen recorded Nebraska alone, on a 4-track cassette deck, in his bedroom. No band. No studio. No plan. Just a handful of songs that somehow became one of the most haunting and honest albums ever made. I’ve always been fascinated by this record — how something so quiet could say so much. This documentary is my attempt to tell that story: where it came from, what it meant, and why it still feels so raw today. Along the way, I dive into the lost “Electric Nebraska” sessions, the real-life stories that inspired those characters, and the strange beauty of an album Bruce never even meant to release. Thanks for watching — and if Nebraska means something to you too, I’d love to hear what it is.
