Highlighting, summarizing, and, of course, cramming: this is how you learn the best for your test... right? Educational psychologist Gino Camp (Open University) explains in this video that these are ineffective learning methods. We are actually fooling ourselves: we think we understand the material because we recognize it, but as soon as we close the book, it seems the information evaporates from our memory. Spaced studying, testing yourself, and using flashcards are good learning methods to pass your exams. Why?
