This is how we make our Italian focaccia at the restaurant. From dough fermentation to the final product, we'll show you the complete process behind an authentic, artisanal focaccia. In this video, you'll discover how we make one of the most important foundations of Italian cuisine: a light focaccia, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and made with long fermentation times to achieve the best possible flavor and texture. We've perfected our recipe to arrive at the version we serve every day in our restaurant. Today, we're showing you the entire process, no secrets, and straight from inside our kitchen. What will you learn in this video? ✅Not much, but you'll catch a little tidbit and that's about it... Focaccia is much more than just bread. It's an Italian tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation and continues to be one of the most versatile and beloved products in our cuisine. 📍This time we made it in Valencia, Spain. THE RECIPE: Can you make amazing focaccia without a stand mixer? YES!! ♥️🍕 4-ingredient recipe with great results and minimal effort Flour 715 grams Water 450 grams Salt 15 grams Olive oil 15 grams Combine 70% of the flour and 80% of the water until the dough is slightly moist and let it rest for 20 minutes. #autolysisprocess After this time, incorporate the remaining ingredients until a smooth dough forms, kneading constantly. Once you have a smooth ball, let it rest for one hour, turn it over as shown in the video, and let it rise for at least 3 hours at room temperature. When it's the size you want, make indentations with your hand and let it rest until it fills the entire baking tray. Drizzle with plenty of oil and a few splashes of water, and sprinkle more salt on top before putting it in the oven. You can add onions, olives, tomatoes, ham, bacon, sausage, pepperoni, or whatever you like before baking. Bake it at a minimum of 220 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit) for 8-10 minutes, depending on your oven and how crispy you want it! #focaccia #italianfocaccia #italianbread #italiancuisine #pizza #chef #italianrestaurant #artisanbakery #italianfood #foodie
