Following the success of the animated short (Tin Toy- in 1988) Pixar was approached by Disney to produce an animated feature film that was from a small toys prospective. Toy Story really broke new ground for Pixar and for computer animated films on a whole 30 years ago for obvious reasons and the franchise still continues to pass through generations and charm fans by storm!
