TikTok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMJprqn7g/ Homemade Limoncello: Ingredients: -10 Organic Lemons -750ml bottle of Grain Alcohol (Everclear) -1.5 750ml bottles of Water -2.5 Cups of Sugar Accessories: -Glass jars -Funnel -nylon straining bag, cheesecloth, or coffee filter -Glass Bottles Recipe: Step 1: Cut just the outer layer of lemons using a peeler or knife (this step will be much easier with a peeler). Only use the yellow peel with none of the white. Place peels into a glass jar, pour in alcohol, and tightly seal. Store in a cool, dark place for 25-30 days to let the alcohol infuse with the lemons. While waiting I like to occasionally shake the jars to mix everything together. Step 2: After the 25-30 days has passed it is time to bottle. First strain lemon infused alcohol into bowl. Make sure you get all of alcohol out, I even squeeze the lemons in the straining bag to release every last drop. Step 4: Add the water and sugar into a pot and bring to a boil, occasionally stirring. Once boiling, with the sugar completely dissolved, remove from heat and set to side for it to cool. Step 5: Once the sugar water has cooled down add into bowl with the alcohol and mix together. It is now time to begin bottling. After bottled place the limoncello in the freezer and enjoy cold.
