🇩🇪 Welche Messer darf man tragen? (ohne Gewähr!)

My organized playlists and channels: https://langschwert.de/ : https://www.youtube.com/@Langschwert/... - Regarding the question of whether a knife that I can eject is a prohibited switchblade: The appendix to the German Weapons Act (WaffG) states, among other things: "2.1.2 whose blades spring out of the handle by gravity or by a flicking motion when a locking mechanism is released and are locked automatically or when the locking mechanism is released (gravity knives)..." So it depends on the presence of a locking mechanism; therefore, my knife without one is not a gravity knife. Another important correction: The long red knife that looks like a switchblade but isn't one is not covered by the Weapons Act because folding knives that cannot be opened with one hand are exempt from the Weapons Act, unlike fixed-blade knives, regardless of whether they can be locked in place or not. The intention was probably to exempt the classic pocket knife, but no blade length was specified. So it depends on the presence of a locking mechanism; my knife is not a gravity knife.
