The production team is formed by queer teenagers from the ages 17 to 27, whose work is made possible by donations. In KUNTERGRAU coming out is part of the past, love and sex are mundane and fetish fantasies are no taboo. Jan, Noah, Marcel, Leopold and Lukas manage their daily lives in the big city until a homophobic attack strikes them to the core.
