Bhagat gushmai is also known as grishna by some It is said that due to this Lord Shiva is also known as ghushmeshwar and grishneshwar as the name of his devotee. இந்த பதிவில் ஜோதிர்லிங்க தலங்களில் ஒன்றான குஷ்மேஷ்வர் கோவிலின் வரலாற்றை பற்றி தெரிந்து கொள்வோம்.  குஸ்மேஸ்வர் ஜோதிர்லிங்கத் தலம் பன்னிரண்டு ஜோதிர்லிங்கத் தலங்களில் கடைசித் தலமாகும்.  மகாராஷ்டிர மாநிலம் அவுரங்காபாத் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள வெருலில் அருள்மிகு குஷ்மேஸ்வரர் திருக்கோயில் அமைந்துள்ளது. இத்தலத்தில் சிவபெருமான் குஷ்மேஸ்வரர், குங்குமேஸ்வரர், கிருஷ்ணேஸ்வரர் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்.  குங்குமனேஸ்வரி தேவியின் பெயரால் அழைக்கப்படுகிறார். அந்த குஷ்மேஷ்வர் கோவில் வரலாற்றையும் கொஞ்சம் தெரிந்து கொள்வோம். இந்தப் பகுதி ஒரு காலத்தில் சிறிய கிராமமாக இருந்தது.  அந்த கிராமத்தில் சுதர்மன் என்ற பிராமணன் வசித்து வந்தான்.  இவரது மனைவி பெயர் சுதேகா. இருவரும் இப்போது திருமணம் செய்து கொண்டனர்.  நீண்ட நாட்களாக குழந்தை பாக்கியம் இல்லாததால் சுதேஹா மிகவும் வருத்தப்பட்டாள்.  அதனால் அவள் துக்கத்தைப் போக்க தன் தங்கையான குஷ்மாவை இரண்டாவது மனைவியாக மணந்து கொண்டால்.  குஷ்மா மிகவும் பக்தி கொண்டவள்.  தினமும் களிமண்ணால் 108 சிவலிங்கங்கள் செய்து சிவனை வழிபட்டு அந்த சிவலிங்கங்களை சிவாலய ஏரியில் விடுகிறாள்.  சிவபெருமான் அருளால் கிருஷ்ணருக்கு ஆண் குழந்தை பிறந்தது.  குழந்தையை அன்புடன் வளர்த்ததில் மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்தனர். அதுவரை பிரச்சனைகள் இல்லாமல் இருந்த சுதேகிகா இப்போது பொறாமையும், தாழ்வு மனப்பான்மையும் கொண்டவர்.  இதனால் சுதேஹாய் மிகுந்த மன உளைச்சலுக்கு ஆளானார்.  குஷ்மாவின் மகன் மீது பழி சுமத்திய சுதேஹா, அவர் தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது அவரைக் கொன்று, உடலை சாக்குமூட்டையில் கட்டி சிவாலய ஏரியில் வீசினார். மகனின் நிலையை அறிந்த குஷ்மா, சிவபெருமான் தன் மகனை நிச்சயம் காப்பாற்றுவார் என்ற நம்பிக்கையில் வழக்கம் போல் 108 சிவலிங்கங்களை பிரதிஷ்டை செய்து சிவலிங்க வழிபாட்டில் ஈடுபட்டார்.  அவள் சிவபெருமானிடம் அழுது தன் மகனைக் காக்கும்படி வேண்டினாள்.  குஷ்மாவின் நம்பிக்கை வீண் போகவில்லை.  சிவபெருமான் குஷ்மாவின் முன் தோன்றி அவளை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்.  மேலும் சிவபெருமானால் குஷ்மாவின் மகன் உயிருடன் திரும்பி வந்தான். மேலும் சிவபெருமான் குஷ்மாவிடம் நடந்த அனைத்தையும் கூறி அவளது சகோதரியை தண்டிக்க முயன்றார்.  ஆனால் குஷ்மா தன் சகோதரியின் தவறை மன்னிக்கும்படி சிவபெருமானிடம் கேட்டால். குஷ்மாவின் வேண்டுகோளுக்கு மனம் நெகிழ்ந்த சிவபெருமான், "உனக்கு என்ன வரம் வேண்டும் கேள்" என்றார்.  அதற்காக. மக்களைக் காக்க இங்கே எழுந்திருக்க வேண்டுமானால் குஷ்மா. அவ்வாறே மக்களைக் காப்பேன் என்றார் சிவபெருமான்.  சிவபெருமான் ஜோதி வடிவில் ஜோதி லிங்கமாக தோன்றியதாக ஐதீகம்.  பகத் குஷ்மாய் சிலரால் கிருஷ்ணா என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறார் இதனால் சிவபெருமான் குஷ்மேஷ்வர் என்றும், கிருஷ்ணேஷ்வர் என்றும் அவரது பக்தரின் பெயரால் அழைக்கப்படுவதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.    • ghushmeshwar jyotirlinga history in tamil|...   Abishek Indradevan Bharatha Thamizhan பாரத தமிழன்
