Arrived at Summer Grazing After Dust and Long Hours, Moving 300 Cows by Cattle Drive
Day 2 & 3 moving 300 mother cows 300 miles across open Idaho country to spring grazing pasture. After three days and more than 30 miles on the trail, the herd finally reaches fresh spring grass, fresh water, and open range. This last stretch is always the most rewarding. The cows know they're close, the pace picks up, and after days of dust, long hours, and constant attention, they spread out across the open range they've been eager for. Moving cattle this way is still part of life on working ranches across the West. It's practical, efficient, and a reminder that some traditions continue because they still make sense. Three days. Thirty miles. Three hundred head. Another spring cattle drive in the books. đ Subscribe to follow the full three-day drive đ Malad Valley, Idaho đ¸ Daily updates on Instagram â @ranchin_ward â Chapters â More from Ranchin' Ward đŹ Last time:    â˘Â Moving 300 Cows To Spring Grazing: What Co...  #cattledrive #ranchlife #cowboy #ranching #idahoranch #wardheritageranch #ranchinward #cattleranching #americanrancher #springcattledrive #cowhorse #ranchwork #realranching
