Day two and three in Edinburgh: Scottish food (including haggis!) and whisky, a Harry Potter walking tour & spectacular views! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃🪄 👉 Before the big Adventures by Disney journey kicks off, two full days packed with iconic Edinburgh, Scotland experiences! We're spending our June 2025 on a big adventure! Come with us as we start the morning with a cozy breakfast at The Ivy, where we tried haggis, Scotland's national dish, for the very first time (spoiler: it surprised us!). 🐑 🍽️ 👀 Then it was off to Calton Hill for breathtaking views of the city and national monuments before diving into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. 🪄📸 Since we had a fan of the iconic series with us, we booked a free walking tour through Edinburgh’s magical streets that inspired JK Rowling herself. ‼️ You won't believe the things we saw - Harry Potter inspiration in real life! Stay tuned for magical secrets that will take your breath away. And dinner was a highlight! We visited the historic yet swanky restaurant, The Devil’s Advocate, where we sampled our first Scottish whisky and fresh cuisine — a bucket-list moment. 🥃 What dish surprised us? Meanwhile, Ashley squeezed in a solo run past some of Edinburgh’s most beautiful landmarks and then escaped for the Islander Workshop Experience, crafting a handmade Harry Tweed handbag. 👜 I'm sharing my honest review about whether this was worth it. 🐽 The kids and Scott? They had their own foodie adventure with the viral Oink sandwiches, and we wrapped up the day at Blank Street Coffee before switching hotels for the next leg of our trip. 😱 And, wait until you see our gorgeous second stay right near Edinburgh Castle!
