LOVE LIKE BANANAS

HELLO. IT'S ME NICK. this is a little something, something i've made on this week. this is some sort of up-tempo stuff. [i'm feeling pretty damn good today] this is an instrumental i made titled "LOVE LIKE BANANAS". my main influence for making this beat was PinkPantheress and Jamie XX. When I heard both of their stuff, I was interested in what else kind of music, I could make. (oops i did it again, lol.) i made this in logic pro X, 136 bpm and the instruments i used were: quantum pianos, two analog leads, orbit moods arp, analog funk synth bass, and a drums / percussions loop titled "2-step remix." this was so quickly made and it took me about a few hours to make. mixed and mastered by nicholas parker. i have many projects back and forth, i'm working some mixtapes, couple of more EP's and i'm working on few albums and collabs. (i'm not a hamilton, but i should take a break.) [ba dum tsss, sorry] i made my longest lo-fi album titled "oceans full of dreams" and released it three thursdays ago. summary from YT: "oceans full of dreams" is the fifth lo-fi album by nicholas parker, released on October 12, 2023. This is a mix-up of four genres: lo-fi, experimental, noise, and electronic. 2023 saw the release of four alternative/lo-fi instrumental albums by me (who i am, under the waterfalls, that ain't good, the window is open). This is now my fifth one. I also have a few more EPs, few mixtapes, and my full-length debut studio album, "smile more", in the works. Although "who i am" wasn't really lo-fi, it was...whatever THAT was. I recorded this taking inspiration from Studio Ghibli, like Castle In The Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, and Ponyo. I also thought of the 2006 movie Paprika, even though that's not Studio Ghibli. Clocking in at 74:46 and at 22 songs, "oceans full of dreams" is my longest project so far, and the only one over 50 minutes. I also minimized the use of guitar for this release. Guitar has been a main staple in my music production since I've started out being a producer, but I only played guitar on 3 songs here as keyboards, synthesizers, and sound design were the main focus on "oceans full of dreams". This will also be one of my last instrumental releases for a while, cause I want to focus on more vocal-focused songs and releases. I want to incorporate vocals and lyrics into my songs and styles to give my catalog a more beautiful landscape. I've been continuing my style of music to make the listener want to lay back and chill, and fly away to a journey in their mind and I hope I get to do that with "oceans full of dreams" with you all.
