Australia is becoming ‘far more difficult’ to invest in

​Former NSW trade and investment commissioner Mike Newman says Australia is becoming “far more difficult to invest in”. ​“The Japanese corporates have $5 trillion of cash on their balance sheets and would love to spend it in Australia,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. ​“However, our government here seems not to want to make it easy for them to do so because a lot of it is involved in sectors which our government is not too fond of, i.e. coal and gas.”
