A day of being called "Officer Hobbs!" all day!🐰 Instagram @hanolrim 📌 Disneyland Tips from a Theme Park Enthusiast! 🏰 ▶ Disneyland does not allow character costumes (cosplay) except during special periods, such as Halloween🎃. This is to prevent other guests from confusing them with real characters. In addition to costumes, there are restrictions on items that could cause confusion within the park, such as masks that completely obscure the face, prop weapons, and other attire. However, "costumes or ready-to-wear items inspired by works or characters" are allowed! Example: A pink polka-dot midi dress with a blue background inspired by Sulley from Monsters, Inc.👗 and Sulley's horn headband! ▶ Guests 13 and under are allowed to enter in costume. (However, masks that completely cover the face or capes below the waist may be subject to restrictions.) ▶ While entry is usually difficult, there's also "Dapper Day," an event held every year outside of Halloween where guests can wear whatever fancy concept they want. For example, wear a long, vintage princess-style lace dress with a parasol! 👒🎩 ▶However, unlike domestic amusement parks where you can walk around in a relatively pretty and fluffy(?) way, comfortable clothing is crucial to fully enjoy a vast and densely packed park like Disneyland. In particular, wear comfortable shoes that are comfortable and fit for long walks! ▶Many families wear matching T-shirts with their respective names, such as Mom, Dad, Son, and Daughter. This helps keep everyone in the crowd, and it's also cute to others. Haha, similarly, couples often wear matching outfits with Disney-themed phrases like "her Mickey" and "her Minnie." ▶As of 2022, admission tickets alone cost 150,000 won per person per day (or more due to the exchange rate). To make the most of your money, you'll want to spend the whole day riding all sorts of rides, eating lots of delicious food, and having fun watching shows! So, pretty but comfortable clothes are best. 🎶 You'll end up with a bulging belly from all that eating, then running around and back again, and so on... ▶Be sure to bring sunscreen! It's a good idea to bring some to the park and reapply it frequently. If you have sunglasses, bring them with you. Always check the weather, and don't worry if it rains a little (rainy days have their own charm!). If possible, bring a sturdy raincoat rather than an umbrella. The park does sell ponchos, but they're a lot more expensive than buying them outside (around $12-$15 each). ▶The park also has a "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique" for little princesses and princes ages 3 to 12! They offer everything from simple makeover packages (starting around $100) to full packages that transform you into a princess or prince from head to toe!
