Blue Angels Pilot Grounded After Low Beach Pass

The Blue Angels have received unwanted publicity after one of the demonstration team's pilots flew low and fast over the shoreline at Pensacola Beach on July 15, 2026. The team was performing their annual "Breakfast with the Blues" arrival routine ahead of their annual "Beach Week" air show. The Super Hornet's engine exhaust sent beach chairs, coolers, and tents flying and both terrified and thrilled the large crowd on the sand.
