ReGearing an IFS Differential: 4.30s for an All Wheel Drive Silverado

The GM 8.25" IFS regear job was cut short last time when I realized the spider gears were wrong for an AWD application, so I had to order a new set from Yukon. They just arrived, so we're finishing up the 4.30 gear swap on my Stepside Silverado. We originally had 3.73 in this truck, but with the small engine and with the type of power adder I'm installing, I felt like a 4.30 would be the best all around gear for my application. I've driven the truck in 2wd with the 4.30s and I love how it runs, so to finish the job properly, we need to match the front gear ratio to the rear. I am using a donor front diff for this project since I am also doing an all wheel drive conversion using an NV149 transfer case from a Yukon Denali or Silverado SS.
