Real Alcázar de Sevilla 🏰: un paseo por su historia, sus palacios y jardines

To witness the grandeur and legacy of Spain 🇪🇸, there's no better place than the Royal Alcázar of Seville 👋. Even if you're only in Seville for a day, you have to visit it 👌. It's like going to Granada and not visiting the Alhambra 🙃. The history of the Royal Alcázar 🏰 is written by all the cultures that have occupied it. Today, the Seville Alcázar is the residence of the Spanish royal family when they visit Seville, making it the oldest active royal palace in Europe. The family's private apartments are located on the first floor of Pedro I's palace, known as the Cuarto Real Alto (Royal Upper Room). To visit the royal apartments, in addition to general admission to the Alcázar, you must purchase a special ticket to the Cuarto Real Alto (Royal Upper Room). General admission to the Royal Alcázar costs €13.50. If you want to visit the Cuarto Real Alto (Royal Upper Room), you must book online and pay an additional €5.50. 👉https://realalcazarsevilla.cliqueo.es/es With this combined ticket, you can of course visit the entire Royal Alcázar complex. You can also skip the lines, as the Royal Quarter has a timed admission. Since you must go through security to visit these rooms, you can enter the monument one hour early, through the Puerta del León (Plaza del Triunfo). Arrive at least 15 minutes early to the Upper Royal Quarter to clear security. The rules for the royal apartments are strict; you cannot bring luggage, and there are lockers to store your belongings. Bring €1 for the locker. Also, under no circumstances are you allowed to take photographs of the apartments. A guide will accompany you at all times. Visits are only between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and only 30 people are allowed every half hour. The rooms in the Upper Royal Quarter are not as spectacular, except for the Reception Room; there's nothing you haven't seen in other palaces. If you're only visiting the public palaces and gardens, I recommend purchasing your tickets online to avoid the long lines, although you'll have to pay a €1 surcharge per ticket. You can visit the gardens with a ticket to the Real Alcázar complex; however, there isn't a separate ticket just for the gardens.
