Canon PowerShot Zoom Review - Yep I broke it!

The Canon Powershot zoom is a strange one. Is it a camera or a monocular? In this review I go over what you should expect from this device and some of the cons of the device. 0:00 Intro 0:07 Topics in the video 0:25 What's in the box 0:31 What's not included/Charging 1:17 The terrible thing - dropped it 1:55 Basic operations 2:42 How I set the device up 4:00 How good are the images? 5:09 Who's this device for? Well I think you should treat it as a monocular that can take video and stills. I like the unit (which I purchased myself) but admit that the images are not that of a DSLR or mirrorless camera, but then do they have to be? I think this device is a monocular which as a bonus can take stills and video. Annoyingly you don't get a charger and have to buy a powerful USB-C charger of 18W or more. You can't use existing USB charges as most are either 5 or 10W. It's not the end of the world as you can pick from as little as £8 off Amazon. You can link the device to your smartphone which I think is useful and allows other people to see what you see. So you could treat this device as an extreme smartphone zoom device too. I broke the lens a few days into the review. So the review includes images before and after the break. I do think it is very easy to damage and break and so you should factor this into your purchasing decision. I have a story to tell about the repairing by Canon, but that's another video in itself. I cover how to charge the device too. All images shown from the device are unedited jpgs. Amazon aff #Canon #PowershotZoom #Monucular #CanonPowershotZoom #SmartphoneMonocular #DigitalMonocular
