Cambio de Horquilla y Cacahuates (Susuki Grand Vitara)

Hey friends! In this video, we're replacing the control arms and stabilizer bar bushings on a 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara. For the diagnosis, we used a slight loss of control while turning on the highway as a reference point. The SUV was pulling to one side, which led us to believe the problem was the sway bar bushings. We also noticed the poor condition of the control arm bushings through a visual inspection. I hope you enjoy the video and learn how to do this. I'd appreciate your feedback so I can keep improving! Tips for mechanics: Wear safety glasses. Wear gloves (trust me, you'll thank me later). Before starting to work on the suspension, apply WD-40 to the bolts. Use threadlocker (blue) on the bolts so vibrations don't loosen them over time. Get a breaker bar. - Invest in tools; it's the best thing you can do. Always keep your tools organized. Cleanliness in your workshop is paramount. Never leave a caliper hanging. Always have a snack available. If you're starting out, use your phone to take pictures of your process so you don't get lost when assembling. Always mark your bolts to make sure they don't loosen. Even though spark plugs come pre-gapped, it never hurts to double-check. Before leaving on a trip, check your fluid levels. Subscribe to Avila Mk2. Always use the tool for its intended purpose. Invest in tools. Measure twice to cut once. Never try to loosen a 3/4" bolt with a 1/4" ratchet. Keep an eye on the 10mm wrench. Protect your hearing. Calibrate your torque wrench. Organize your parts. - Learn about new materials. Use an inspection light. Properly align the wheels. Perform a post-repair test drive. Know the tightening sequence. Keep a magnetic wrench handy. Investigate recurring problems. Label your tools. Protect yourself from chemicals. Keep a maintenance log. Always test the battery. Use space efficiently. Drink water.
