Desvendando Bela Vista de Minas: natureza e história de coragem!

This week's "Traveling with Toledo" will explore the city of Bela Vista de Minas. We begin the program at the foot of the Christ statue, at the entrance to the city, talking with Rode Basílio, the municipality's vice-mayor. She told us more about the history and local economy. We also learned about the history of the century-old Caminho Grande farm. We visited the São Sebastião Musical Corporation and spoke with conductor Mauro da Silva, who explained the band's history and talked about the group's musical style. We also went to the Taquaril Waterfall, where José Calazans showed us the site's structure, explained how visits work, and showed us the waterfall's famous water slide. We visited Dentão Chopp's Beer Truck, where Dentão shared his story and explained how he decided to leave his job as a truck driver to start his own business. We also met Donizet Gomes, passionate about vintage radios, who showed us his collection of devices from different eras, capable of receiving stations from various countries. In addition to collecting, he also manufactures and repairs radios.
